NCHS Creators Scholarship

Ivyviews Photography and Digital Media is thrilled to introduce the NCHS Creators Scholarship, dedicated to celebrating the creative scholars of Noxubee County High School. The scholarship is established in honor of Dell Ivy, a proud native of Macon, Mississippi, and an esteemed alumnus of Noxubee County High School, Class of 2017. Dell Ivy's journey began with a profound passion for photography and digital media, which he pursued alongside his undergraduate education. After successfully obtaining a degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Mississippi State University, he embarked on a mission with Ivyviews Photography and Digital Media – a mission to capture the beauty and essence of life through the lens of a camera. This scholarship is a testament to Dell Ivy's unwavering commitment to the community that molded him and his genuine aspiration to nurture the talent of the next generation.

Scholarship Details

The Ivyviews Creative Scholarship will award two scholarships worth $250 each in May 2024.


  • The applicant must be a Noxubee County High School (NCHS) senior.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75.
  • Must be on track to graduate in 2024.

Application Requirements

To qualify for the Ivyviews Creative Writing Scholarship, students must submit a body of work that reflects the theme "Cherish The Days That We'll Miss Tomorrow." Applicants can choose one of the following creative mediums for their submission:

  1. Video
  2. Creative Story/Essay
  3. Photography Portfolio
  4. Painting/Drawing
  5. Any other form of art or digital media

Rubric Details

The NCHS Creators Scholarship will be evaluated using a comprehensive rubric considering four main criteria. Each criterion is assigned a score from 1 to 5, reflecting the following aspects: Artistic Submission, Written Narrative, Recommendation, and Overall Impression.
